Wayside Friends Church, North Valley Friends Church, Cascade Church, and Pearl Church are teaming up this summer to offer a Jesus-centered camping experience for 6th-12th grade students. One of our primary purposes will be to create and foster a safe, trusting, and caring (aka: Christlike) community that brings to life the fruit of Jesus’ Spirit.

Every camper, counselor, teacher, and director at Fireside and The Woods will be affirmed as a child of God regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.

  • Monday-Thursday | July 8th-11th
Camp begins at 11:30am on Monday, July 8th — lunch provided — at Suttle Lake Camp [29551 Suttle Lake Road, Sisters, OR 97759] and concludes at noon on Thursday, July 11th. Medications will be collected by the camp nurse from students before departure to camp.

  • The cost of summer youth camp is $365 per camper, this includes a $50 deposit.

In the memo, add your camper name(s). We are asking that all campers are registered and balances are paid by Sunday, June 16th. Each student will need to have a fully paid balance when dropping off students.

    STEP ONE
    Register your camper(s).

    STEP TWO
    Pay for your camper(s).

  • Jurassic Park, Life Finds A Way!

  • All students have been registered for transportation automatically. There is a $20 roundtrip fee to ride the bus, due before departure. Transportation to and from camp will be leaving from North Valley Friends Church (4020 N College, Newberg, OR 97132) at 8:30am on July 8th. Students will return from camp at 3:30pm on July 11th, again meeting at North Valley.

If your student/s do NOT need transportation from Newberg please email Rachelle [Wayside + North Valley] or Sarah [Cascade] or Kylie [Pearl] to remove them from the list.

Families are welcome to choose to send their campers to camp via church provided transportation, or to drive their campers to camp themselves and enjoy the afternoon/morning in Sisters or Bend.
